On the 13th of January 2026, I made a semi-planned trip from my home in Sunderland to my parents' house in Weston-super-Mare. That could only mean one thing… a flight from Newcastle Airport (NCL) to Bristol Airport (BRS). Par for the course for me, I recorded both the takeoff and landing, and also took a few airplane window shots. I’ve shared these with you on this blog post, which is taking me an eternity to write because of how laggy my MacBook Air is following the release of MacOS 26.

Also, as I often forget to post here, I’d recommend subscribing to my YouTube channel. I publish the majority of takeoffs and landings of flights that I’ve travelled on on my channel (you can see where I’ve flown to in 2022 and beyond here). I also publish other stuff too, such as trains, ships and other stuff that I find interesting. I’ve also bought a DJI Mini 5 Pro (non-referral link), and while I’m not particularly proficient at flying it yet, I hope to publish drone shots eventually.
